What Is Green Technology

green technology

Green Technology is used to describe sustainable energy generation technologies and inventions. Green inventions are environmentally friendly inventions that usually involve: energy efficiency, reduce, reuse and recycle, safety and health concerns, renewable resources, etc. It also means a class of electronic systems that can promote sustainable management of resources.

Why should we use green technology?

The world has limited natural resources, some of which are already depleted or ruined. It often happens that household batteries and electronics containing mercury and other chemicals are not discarded properly. They pollute the groundwater, soil and affect food crops as they contaminate the soil making it harmful for us. The risk to our health is sky high if this is not controlled.

The field of “green technology” envelops a persistently developing gathering of strategies and materials, from methods for creating vitality to non-lethal cleaning items. Green technology items are amazingly one of a kind and convincing. They give prompt outcomes and for all intents and purposes are life-evolving.They focus on solving, but not limited to, four of our most common problems in peoples homes today.

Indoor Air Pollution

The energy crisis of the 70’s brought the indoor air crisis of the 90’s and today. Presently, researchers demonstrate that the air inside your home might be five times more contaminated than the air outside your home.

Vitality Crisis

It’s an ideal opportunity to acknowledge the clear issues. Vitality costs are on the rise, and the utilization of gadgets in our homes is developing exponentially. To make an already difficult situation even worse, consistently the machines and electronic gadgets in our homes are under assault from surges, spikes and electrical noise. Now is the ideal time for a Whole House Energy Management System.

High Costs of Doing Laundry

The costs of laundry detergent and energy to wash in hot water have caused concerns for today’s economists who are in desperate need to cut living expenses. And with the growing Green awareness, more and more people are also looking for cleaner ways to do laundry.

Contaminated and Acidic Water- 75% of Americans have symptoms of chronic dehydration

Most governments are making a conscious effort to generate green energy using solar panels, dams and windmills. Many auto companies are developing a new generation of machines that are fuel efficient, hybrids or can run on bio-fuel. The fashion indsutry is also turning green with clothes, accessories and even undergarments being made in efficient resource ways and sporting green slogans. However, some initiatives are less talked about.

Traditional agricultural practices were wholly organic where fertilizers and pesticides were derived from plant and animal products. However, chemical farming, adopted some 50 years ago, brought with it many pitfalls like reduction in soil quality and toxic produce, making farmers and consumers want to revert to the organic ways. Since the year 2000, the Indian government has identified organic farming as a national challenge, made efforts to promote traditional agricultural knowledge and identified suitable areas for organic farming. Organic farming is an ideal example of green technology.

How long do we have to wait?

Despite much that has been and is being done, there is much to be desired as we await revolutionary technological innovations as well a change in mindsets that will remedy the many ecological problems. Being at a nascent stage, this newly emerging sector promises much in the future and gives hope for the necessary drastic change.

There are many reasons to use green technology, but I’m going to share a couple of really good ones that are becoming more and more important.

First, it is very important to make this clear. We are running out of oil. No right wing propaganda can deny something like that. Perhaps they don’t want you to believe it, but they have their agenda, and that is not my issue. It is the truth. It’s the undeniable truth and there is nothing we can do about it. Oil is central to our way of life. Running out of it will mean that we have to make fundamental changes to the way we exist in this world.

Start early and the shock may not be as bad

Beginning the switch to green technology now will mean that the change will not be as painful or sudden. Make no mistake; the change will happen sooner or later. It is better to go with the flow than to fight it. Fighting an unstoppable force will not end well for you so you might as well make the smart choice and begin the change now..

You WILL save money

You will save money. That is what the advertisers like to tell us. This is true but not always in the way you think. It is very likely that in the future governments will begin to impose taxes on houses and products that don’t meet rigorous green regulations. Once these taxes are introduced, the demand for green products will go through the roof, and at the same time, the price of these products will go up. You can’t blame retailers and businesses for doing it. It’s exactly what I would do in the same circumstance, but there is no reason you can’t be ahead of the curve and buy now.

The sense of ownership. We all love buying stuff. It’s very cool to unpack your new product and show it off to your family and friends. Couple that with the fact that the product that you just bought is helping to save the environment and you’re on to a sure-fire winner. What better way to celebrate capitalism by buying a cool new product and helping to save the world at the same time.

Green Technology has some goals to bring them out in great magnitude which are:

Sustainability – meeting the requirements of society in ways to such an extent that they can proceed towards the future without harming or draining characteristic assets. Manageability implies addressing present needs without compromising the necessities of who and what is to come.

Source diminishment – lessening waste and contamination by changing the measure of creation and diminishing the utilization rate.

Advancement – creating and developing new other options to advances

Reasonability – making a focal point of monetary movement around advancements and items that advantage the earth, speeding their execution and making new career posts that will be truly devoted to the protection of the planet.
